Funded Activities

Each year, the Foundation makes donations for the high school library and school instruments through the Class of ’60 endowment fund and the Make More Music campaign.  Kids Connection also provides support for individual student needs. Donations from the Foundation to the Canton Central School District have grown each year since the first transfer of funds in 2009-2010.  Below is a brief history of projects and activities supported through the Canton Golden Bear Education Foundation.

The Foundation’s first donation to the school supported a 4-day storytelling workshop by Bairbre McCarthy which culminated in a community performance.
